Posted February 10, 2018 06:16:25In what could be seen as a sign that the company is not ready to be a major player in mobile phones and smartphones, Samsung Electronics (005930) on Wednesday said it would launch the Galaxy X smartphone.
The new flagship will be Samsung’s first mobile device to run the company’s own operating system, and it is likely to be the company to use as its flagship smartphone for the next few years.
The Galaxy X is expected to be unveiled in early March.
Samsung’s Galaxy X will be the first phone to use the latest and greatest hardware on the market.
This includes a dual-core CPU, a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 13MP rear camera.
The phone will come with Samsung’s own software called Galaxy OS, which has been used in the past by other Korean smartphone makers.
However, the Galaxy OS will be integrated into the device and not be a separate operating system.
The Galaxy X, Samsung’s flagship smartphone, will also be the world’s first smartphone with a fingerprint scanner, which is a feature that will be added to many smartphones, including Google’s Nexus smartphones, but not Samsung’s.
The smartphone will also come with the Samsung Galaxy Camera, which will have an image stabilization system, a 4K video recording system, an optical image stabilization sensor and a flash.
Samsung said the Galaxy Camera will be able to capture video at up to 1080p resolution, which means that it can be used as a primary camera in most applications, including photo editing.
The smartphone also supports 1080p HD video, so it can also be used in gaming and other applications that require high-quality video.
Samsung also said the new flagship smartphone will have 4G LTE connectivity and it will also feature Samsung’s new Ultra Power Smart Charging technology, which aims to dramatically improve the energy efficiency of mobile devices.
In terms of specs, Samsung said the smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip, which should feature up to 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 16GB of storage, a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 64MP camera with optical image stabilizer, a 10MP front camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera.
